What WhatsApp campaigns are, and what you need before you start
Send one approved message to many contacts; replies come back to your Inbox and your agent.

A campaign sends one WhatsApp message to many of your contacts at once. You choose the message and who gets it, then send it. Each person gets a normal WhatsApp message from your business number. When they reply, the chat appears in your Inbox. Your AI agent answers, knowing which campaign they're replying to, or your team does.
You need three things:
- A connected WhatsApp Business number. Without one, the Campaigns tab says "Connect a WhatsApp number first". The owner connects it in Channels.
- A paid plan or a live free trial. Otherwise the page says "Campaigns need a paid plan or a live free trial." and the New campaign button is hidden.
- An approved template. WhatsApp only lets a business write first with a message Meta has reviewed. You write the template in Syniria, Meta reviews it, and you can then use it as often as you like (see Writing a message template).
You also need a payment method on your WhatsApp account in Meta, because Meta charges for each delivered message (see What campaigns cost).
Campaigns are for people who agreed to get WhatsApp messages from your business. Syniria's Terms of Service say so in section 23, and each time you send or schedule a campaign you confirm that these people agreed. Messaging people who didn't agree gets your number blocked and reported, and Meta can limit or ban it.
The Campaigns tab has three views: Campaigns, Templates and Opted out.
