Taking items down, or removing them
Use a status to stop offering an item and keep it; Remove deletes it for good.
Updated
To stop your agent offering something without losing it, change its Status:
- Draft, Archived, Off market or Past: your agent won't mention it. The last three also leave your own list until you filter for them.
- Off today, Reserved, Sold, Rented, Full, Closed or Sold out: your agent still recognises the item and says it can't be had right now. That's usually right for a dish that's off tonight or a reserved unit: the customer asked for it by name, so denying it exists would read as a mistake.
"Off today" doesn't reset itself: change it back when the item returns.
Remove deletes the item permanently, with its photos and versions. It takes effect at once, with no confirmation and no undo. If you only want to stop offering something, change its status instead.
Replace catalog, in the spreadsheet import, deletes every item and photo first. It asks before it does.
