Prices, price units and sales
What your agent quotes, how price units work, and how a sale price is announced.
Updated
The Price box is what the customer pays, and your agent quotes it.
Currency: a new item takes your business's default currency (Settings → Agent). Changing the default affects only items you add afterwards; your agent doesn't convert prices into other currencies.
Price units: if you price per night, per hour, per session, per person, per project or "from", choose the unit beside the price. Without a unit, your agent reads the number as a total, so a room at 800 per night would be quoted as 800 for the whole stay. Online stores and "Other" price per item and have no unit.
Sales: put the original price in Compare-at price (was) and the current price in Price. Your agent then mentions the offer by itself: the old price, that there's an offer on, and what the customer pays, in their own language.
A was-price equal to or lower than the price is ignored, so your agent never announces a 0% saving. If a sale isn't being mentioned, check that first.
An unpriced version never borrows a price. If you price only one of twelve versions, your agent won't quote that price for the others; it offers to check instead.
