What your agent can open: photos, voice notes, videos and files
Which kinds of attachments your agent understands, and which are only saved to the Inbox.
Updated
| What the customer sends | What happens |
|---|---|
| A photo (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC from an iPhone, AVIF) | Saved, shown in your Inbox, and looked at |
| A voice note | Saved, transcribed so your agent can answer it, and its words shown in your Inbox |
| A sticker | Saved and shown; not looked at |
| A video | Saved and shown; not looked at |
| A document or PDF | Saved and shown; not opened |
Like photos, voice notes are understood only in chats your agent is answering.
Size: a single file is accepted up to 25 MB, within your account's media storage allowance. The messaging apps have their own lower limits before a file reaches Syniria; WhatsApp, for example, caps images at 5 MB and videos at 16 MB. A file that can't be saved shows a note in the conversation instead.
Website chat visitors can send text only.
