How your agent updates after you save
Saving the Agent tab rebuilds your agent in the background, in up to 10 minutes.
Updated
When you press Save changes on the Agent tab, your settings are stored at once, and the page says: "Saved — your AI agent is now being trained on your company's knowledge. This can take up to 10 minutes."
In the background, your agent is rebuilt from your current settings, FAQs, hours and knowledge sources. Until that finishes, your agent keeps replying with what it knew before, so customers are never left without an answer.
Save several times in a row and only the last one counts. If you make three edits in a few minutes, the rebuild runs once, from your final version. There's no need to wait between saves.
Checking the status. Reload the Agent tab and look just above the Save button:
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Your AI agent is being trained on your company's knowledge. This can take up to 10 minutes." | A rebuild is in progress |
| "Agent last updated 5m ago." | Your agent runs on your latest saved settings |
| "Last update attempt failed … try saving again." | Something went wrong: press Save changes again |
What doesn't need a rebuild. Your catalog is read live, so a price change takes effect at once. Lead details, order questions and booking questions save on their own pages; a Lead details save usually reaches your agent from its next reply.
