Naming your agent and choosing its tone

Pick a name customers will see and one of four tones.

Updated

Agent name is the name your agent introduces itself with, so customers see it. Pick something that sounds like a person on your team, such as "Mia" or "Sam from Support", rather than "Bot". It can't be left blank.

Tone has four choices: Friendly (the default), Professional, Playful and Formal.

Tone changes the wording your agent uses: its vocabulary, warmth and how casual it sounds. It doesn't change the rules every Syniria agent follows, whatever its tone: it sounds like a real person, never pushy or salesy; it uses at most one emoji in a message, only where it fits; and it keeps each reply short (see What your agent will and won't do). So Formal won't produce long paragraphs, and Playful won't fill replies with emoji.

For a specific behaviour, such as a greeting you always want or a phrase you never want said, write it into your business description or an FAQ, where it becomes part of what your agent knows.
