Setting up your business: the welcome screen

Three questions create your workspace and its free trial, with no card needed.

Updated

After you create your account you see one screen, headed Tell us about your business. It asks three things, all required:

  • Business name, for example "Bloom Studio".
  • Business type, picked from the list. It decides what your catalog is called (Products, Menu items, Services, Listings, Courses, Rooms & packages, Plans & classes, Packages & rentals, or Items) and which details your agent suggests collecting. You can change it later in Settings → Profile.
  • Timezone, filled in from your device. To change it, click the field and type a city, region or UTC offset. Your agent uses the timezone to work out whether you're open.

Then tick I agree to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. (both open in a new tab). Open my workspace stays disabled until the box is ticked.

Nothing is created until you press Open my workspace. Then, in one step, Syniria creates:

  • your workspace, with a 7-day free trial of every feature, with no card needed;
  • test mode, switched on: your AI agent won't answer customers until you test it and go live (see Testing your agent and going live);
  • no AI agent yet: you set one up from the checklist, and the AI stays off until you do;
  • the suggested lead details for your business type, plus suggested order questions for an online store or a restaurant and a suggested booking question for a clinic;
  • USD as your default currency, which you can change in Agent settings.

You land on the Overview, where the Set up Syniria checklist takes you through the rest (see Your setup checklist).

The welcome screen doesn't ask for your own name, a currency or anything about your agent. You can add your name as Main contact name in Settings → Profile (it's optional), set the currency in Agent settings, and name and teach your agent in Set up your AI agent.
