Your setup checklist: "Set up Syniria"
Five steps on the Overview take you from a new workspace to your first answered customer.
Updated
The checklist sits at the top of the Overview. Only the workspace owner sees it.
It's headed Set up Syniria: "Five steps to your first answered customer. Do them in any order." A progress line such as "1 of 5 done" shows how far you are, and the step to do next is marked Next. Each step ticks itself from what you actually do:
- Create your workspace: already done when you arrive.
- Connect a channel: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger or your website. Customer messages land in your Inbox, and nobody gets an automatic reply until you go live. It ticks as soon as a channel is connected; turning on website chat counts.
- Set up your AI agent (marked Recommended): name it, pick a tone and teach it your business. Set up opens the guided setup (see Setting up your AI agent). It ticks when you save your agent, there or in Agent settings, and shows Building for a few minutes while your agent learns from your details. Once done, Edit agent reopens the same screens with your saved details.
- Choose what your agent collects: the details your agent asks customers for and saves in Leads. Review the details opens Lead details. It ticks when you press Save details there, even if you changed nothing.
- Test it, then go live: turn the AI on in one chat and message yourself, then switch it on for everyone in the Inbox. Start testing opens the Inbox. It stays greyed out until it can work, and says why, for example "Opens after steps 2 and 3". It ticks when your AI replies to all chats.
If your workspace has no message credits the AI can use, for example on Connect before you buy any, step 5 says "The AI needs credits to reply. Billing shows how to add them." and its button is Go to Billing. If your free trial or plan has ended, step 5 and the finished card say so, with Choose a plan.
Under the steps, When you're ready lists optional extras: adding your catalog (for example "Add your products"), Set up bookings, Invite your team, Send a WhatsApp campaign and Add a payment method in Meta. Each opens its own page and shows a tick once done. The Meta item is the only one you tick yourself, because Syniria can't see your Meta billing: since October 1, 2026, Meta doesn't deliver WhatsApp replies past the first 1,000 each month unless your WhatsApp account has a working payment method.
Hiding it. The × in the card's corner hides it. Until all five steps are done, a Set up Syniria chip in the sidebar shows your progress (for example "2 of 5") and brings the card back. When all five are done, the card reads You're live, with a summary of what you set up and Hide setup, which hides it for good. If a finished step comes undone later, for example when you disconnect your only channel, the sidebar chip comes back.
If all five steps are done but the AI has no credits to reply with, the card says You're set up. AI is off, with Go to Billing.
