Adding a payment method in Meta for WhatsApp
Each WhatsApp number gets 1,000 free replies a month; add a payment method in Meta so replies keep being delivered after that.
Updated
Meta bills messaging to your own WhatsApp account, with no Syniria markup; it isn't part of your Syniria plan. Since October 1, 2026, each WhatsApp number gets 1,000 free replies a month, your agent's and your team's together, and after that Meta charges for every reply, at its rate for the customer's country. Add a payment method to the account so replies keep being delivered after the free 1,000: without one, Meta stops delivering replies at that point, and campaigns pause at their first message.
To add one, open Meta Business Suite and go to Settings → Billing & payments → Messaging accounts, then Add payment method for the account that holds your number. If a provider manages your WhatsApp billing, check with them first.
Syniria can't see your Meta billing. When Meta refuses to deliver for a payment reason, the Inbox marks the reply Not delivered, and the owner sees a warning. The setup checklist's optional item Add a payment method in Meta is the one you tick yourself once you've added one.
Instagram and Messenger have no Meta message fees.
