Connecting WhatsApp: three ways

Keep using the WhatsApp Business app on the same number, connect a new number, or reconnect an API number.

Updated

Press Connect on the WhatsApp card. Syniria asks How do you use this number today? and offers three ways:

  1. I use the Business app: keep using WhatsApp Business on your phone while Syniria handles messages on the same number. Meta checks whether your account is eligible.
  2. I have a new number: set up a number that isn't on WhatsApp yet. It won't also work in the phone app.
  3. I already use the API: reconnect a number to Syniria, or connect a number from another provider.

Choose one, then Continue with Meta. Meta's own setup opens in a window: follow its steps and click Finish. Keep the Syniria page open, and keep your phone nearby in case Meta asks you to confirm or to scan a QR code. When Meta returns, Syniria checks the number and sets up messaging; the number then appears under Your connections.

Then test it: send a message to your business number from another phone and check that it reaches your Inbox.

If Meta's window doesn't open, your browser probably blocked it. Allow pop-ups for the site and try again; on a phone, open Syniria in Chrome or Safari rather than inside another app.
