Trying it in the preview
Talk to your website chat before it's on your website.

The Preview beside the settings is the real chat, working before your website has it. Write to it as a visitor would.
Preview chats are real: they use credits, count toward the daily AI limit and show in the Inbox as "Preview". After you press Save, the preview reloads with the new settings.
If Test Mode is on, the page says "Test Mode is on, so website visitors won't get AI replies until you switch the AI on in the Inbox. The preview below still answers."
If your AI agent can't answer yet, because it isn't set up or you're out of credits, the page says "The AI is off, so your team answers website visitors from the Inbox, including the preview below." with a link to Set up your AI agent or Go to Billing.
If your free trial or plan has ended, the page says "Your free trial has ended, so the chat is hidden on your website and the preview below gets no replies until you choose a plan. Visitors' chats are kept." (or "Your plan has ended, …"), with Choose a plan.
