Opening an order
What an order's page shows, and how to move it on.
Updated
An order's page shows, from top to bottom:
- The customer, with a link to their contact, and the order total.
- Who asked for it and who it's for. When the customer orders for someone else, that person is the Recipient.
- Order answers: the answers to your order questions (see Order answers on an order).
- Fulfilment: the current status. To move it on, choose the Next status and press Update status. Only statuses that can follow the current one are offered.
- Payment: Paid or Unpaid, with Record paid or Correct to unpaid. Recording a payment doesn't change the status.
- Items: each line with its quantity and price. A line from your catalog keeps the price it had when it was added, even if you change the price in your catalog later; a line typed by hand is a Custom line. Edit items changes them while the order is unpaid and not completed or cancelled.
- Source conversation: opens the chat the order came from. Beside it, Lead #… is the lead this order counts for (see Orders and leads).
- Order activity: who did what and when, and the payment history.
If someone else changed the order while you had it open, saving tells you so. Press Reload order and make your change again.
